Pepperoni Calzone. Fair priced and one of the better ones I've had in Connecticut. I look forward to trying their pizza.
I bought a sausage grinder from there last night and it was awesome.
I came into this place with my father and siblings I immediately got seated and greater by a friendly waiter the food was great the seats were clean if you need food in a quick clean way I recommend this place heavily
Food is dependably good and everyone is very friendly. They have really nice pasta dishes and the specials are always good.
My wife and I were looking for a place to eat and found it using the phone. The lasagna was delicious. Chicken sandwich was very good and the sweet potato fries. Beer tasted very good. We'll go back.
WINGS & CALZONES PICK UP: Pick up is prepared well for carrying purposes. Calzones come in a small pizza box with a cutout for the sauce. WINGS: If you're looking for a good buffalo/BBQ Wings place this is it. The wings are on the smaller size however, the quality of the chicken and the sauce make up for the size. CALZONE: the calzone takes up half a small pizza box with a cup of sauce with plenty of sauce for it. I ordered a simple ricotta mozzarella & eggplant calzone that left me wanting more due to the quality and satisfying bites making it hard to put down
We had a delicious lunch! The menu has lots of great choices, and the staff is wonderful. The atmosphere was especially enjoyable. Highly recommend. Will be back!
Grandfather and I would always swing by to get the cooked salami grinder and a nice cold coke. He grew up in this town and ajs was always our go to place before we headed back home to st.louis. sadly he passed away last month but this is my most cherished memory with him. Update: Back in town today and ordered my grinder. Restaurants under a new owner but it looks the same and the grinder is as wonderful as I can remember. The young lady at the register was such a sweet heart. Talked for a bit and told her how my grandfather and I would always come in and eat. She told my mother and I goodbye and blew a kiss. This is why I never want to leave higganum everyone's family there. but sadly I will be heading back home. Bless the town of higganum and the wonderful community. We will miss you and hopefully we will be back soon.
